Today I read an interesting hypothesis on Chinese data which is worth mentioning.
What just happened today? China revised the numbers of deaths due to COVID by +50%.
Not about +50%. Exactly 50%.
It's interesting, why would they so obviously take the piss, it's like a secret plea for help passed by whoever had to prepare the numbers to bypass their seniors.
Tim Culpan & environs @tculpan
Coincidence?
Maybe, but the trend of numbers from China following a pattern which is a bit too neat goes on since January. Look at the nice chart below. A bit too nice, perhaps.
Feb.13 Mainland China #CoronaVirus:
267 cases in addition to Hubei, some confusion on death total (will update)
Prediction (12 days in advance):
63,774
"Reported"
63,851
Low by 77 cases. That is 0.12%.
The data is fraudulent. China is hiding something about the Mainland.
What’s that drop on the right? Part of a perfect curve (see below).
Past 2 prints should raise alarms at @WHO & @CDCgov & should have already led to @WhiteHouse meetings.
The implications of a struggle in the upr ranks of a major world power to fabricate severity of this event while moving toward a "wartime" footing are severe & under-reported.
It does raise some questions.
